China's retail sales grow 4.6% year-on-year in August

China's retail sales increased 4.6 percent year-on-year in August this year, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Friday.

China's value-added industrial output, an important economic indicator, went up 4.5 percent year-on-year in August, said the NBS.
